Home  /  The Stone

A red that holds its depth.

Most granite reds lighten under polish or wash out in daylight. Lakha Red holds its saturation, a near-oxblood tone graded consistently across blocks.

Finishes

One stone, four ways of reading it.

The same block behaves differently depending on how the surface is worked. Below is how each finish reads, and what each one is normally specified for.

Polished

High-gloss finish that pulls the deepest red out of the stone and gives it reflectivity. The most common choice where the material needs to read as deliberate and expensive.

Best for  Facades · Lobbies · Interior features

Flamed

Thermally textured for grip, with the colour reading darker and more matte than polished. The standard specification wherever the surface will be walked on in the wet.

Best for  Paving · Flooring · External steps

Honed

Ground smooth and left matte, a quieter expression of the same colour, without gloss or reflection.

Best for  Interior floors · Wall cladding

Leather

Lightly textured with a soft sheen, keeping depth of colour while adding grip and tactility.

Best for  Cladding · Counters · Feature surfaces

We won't show you a simulated finish.

No screen renders the depth of this stone honestly. Colour and texture behave differently in daylight, at scale, and under each finish. Rather than show you a mock-up, we'll send the actual material. Tell us which finishes you're weighing up and we'll arrange samples.

Formats & supply

Blocks and cut-to-size.

We supply Lakha Red Granite as raw blocks and cut-to-size pieces, depending on project requirements. The stone is worked to the specification rather than to a standard sheet size, so sizing is quoted per project rather than from a fixed list, whether that is against tender specifications, dealer stock orders or export shipments.

For government tenders and large-volume contracts, we work from your technical specification sheet and can provide sample pieces for approval before full production begins.
